Goodfolk!
First time poster here, hoping to get a bit of advice.
I'm currently looking into the possibility of making my own version of the TG lads' convertible people carrier (except without their simply excellent soft-top solution, which means it won't be a convertible after all, I guess).
In the episode (which you may watch here (the relevant part starts about 6 minutes in): https://www.streetfire.net/video/top-gear-season-8-episode-1-originally-aired-on_part-1_179476.htm) they're driving it about with plates and everything, but it can't possibly have been road legal, can it?
My question is: What do you think it will take to change that, to get it through an IVA and cleared for the road?
In advance: Thank you very much for any help. Also, if this is perhaps not the best forum for questions of this type and you know of a better alternative, let me know!

PS: Why is a Norwegian asking about having a car declared road legal in the UK? Because the Norwegian DMV doesn't do verifications of rebuilds, so in order for it to pass in Norway you have to get it tested in some other country.
