We bugeye guys got to be careful making fun of Smart Cars. Let's look at the specs:

Bugeye: petrol (gasoline) engine of 948 cm3 / 57.9 cui displacement with advertised power 31.7 35.8 kW / 43 48 hp / 43 49 PS ( net SAE ) / 5000 5000 and 71 Nm / 52 lb-ft / 3000 of torque.
Smart ForTwo:

Dimensions:

I don't know about you, would rather have Bugeye. Eliminates odors quicker, more pleasant to the eye. Can get out easier.

Try living in a really crowded city for a while you might re-think that. I will admit being somewhat jealous a few days ago while trying to find a parking space and seeing a Smart car zip into a 1/2 space at a 90 degree angle to everyone else. I could not have jammed my Honda Jazz (Fit) into that spot.

In Europe, they commonly park them with motorcycles (perpendicular to the curb).
