I have set up a series of "Prefixes" which you will now prepend to your thread subject when you post a new thread. They are not optional - you must pick a prefix in order to post. The current set of prefixes are: MGA, MGB, MGC, T-Series, Pre-War, General Tech, & Off Topic. In addition, there is a "Admin Note" and "Mod Note" for use only by the admin (me) and the moderators, respectively. Whether this is the best set I don't know, but I'm open to suggestions. I don't want to have too many (e.g, I didn't think it would be useful to break out all the different T models).
Here's kinds of what posts would look like with various prefixes selected:

The idea is, when you make a new thread, you select the prefix that best categorized your post. For example, any thread specifically related to MGB, would have an MGB prefix, etc. If you are asking a general technical question that could apply to any model, then select "General Tech". A thread that is not MG related at all, for example, a post about a car show, might have an "Off Topic" prefix, and so on. Now these prefixes are only going to on threads made from this point on, but over time I hope it will help people focus on their MG model of interest more easily, without having to click through all threads. Of course nothing prevents you from participating in other models threads if you have something to contribute.
"Who Read this Thread" ALso, for the MG forum, I have implemented something called "Who Read this Thread". If you enter any thread, and scroll to the bottom, you will now see a list of all members who have entered this thread, like this:

This is an experiment in the MG forum only for now, but if it works well, I may implement it in other forums as well. Hope this helps.
