Now an owner of 66 Sunbeam Alpine. Got the car running. Not as bad as first thought.
Have some more issues to address, but nothing major.
Where can I find repair manuel, parts, advice, etc?

First issue is connecting the two fuel tanks. Is there a copper fuel line available? Tanks were removed, flushed and coated.
Is VB the only wendor with parts? They seem limited. Also looking for interior kit.

Look for Sunbeam Specialties on the west coast and Classic Sunbeam Auto Parts on the east coast. You may come up with others if you do a google search for Sunbeam parts.

As for the gas tanks, there should be three pieces that connect them together which run through the rear valance. They're about 1 3/4 to 2 inch bore. An elbow piece on each end connecting to the tanks and a very shallow V piece with a short connection that goes through the hole you'll see in the center of the valance pointing towards the front of the car. You don't want to use copper for the fuel line, it can work harden and crack over time which could lead to the loss of your car. A series V, which is what your 66 should be, used a nylon line from the tank pipes to the engine.

Experience has taught me that almost any shop manual can be purchased on-line. Usually a download. You can load it to a disk and take it to a print shop. I did this for my husband's '50 Dodge pick-up that he's restoring. I had put into a binder, standard size and left blank pages for notes. Each page can be removed and copied if he needs one for hard use. Just a thought and enjoy your new 'plunge.'
