I finally bit the bullet, and purchased Tony Rhodes' great TR7 Stromberg carb mounts (man they're beautiful!!!) And for the first time in 8 months, my TR7 actually started and idled!!!
I went to put it in reverse and BUZZZZZZZZZZZ. No clutch.
The clutch is stuck disengaged!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cryin.gif
I finally had it towed down to my friends' shop. At least I was able to start it in gear and get it out on the street. I thought about driving it in gear with no clutch down to the shop (4 miles,) but the fear of something else happening caused me to just call AAA.
Serenity Now! Serenity Now!!!
