Just when I thought that things couldn't get weirder.....

At first, I thought the thing was built on a TR3 chassis, but the details seem to indicate that...I don't know what.

Seriously, though, are you sure you want a flood-damaged car? I don't doubt that such a car could be restored, but you'd have to get into every little nook and corner and clean out any remaining salt, and treat for rust. Then, after all that work, you'd be stuck with a salvage title, which would lower the car's value dramatically, even if it were a perfect restoration.

X2. Our friend in Long Beach is most correct.

There was a nice article in the recent Moss newsletter on restoring a TR3 (I believe it was) that was rescued from being submerged in New Orleans. Absolutely everything was damaged in one way or another by salt water. Not a job I would be interested in.

Well, I'm sort of into micro cars and I think that Bond is kinda cool in a 'ugly-cool' kinda way! As micro cars go they were quite popular. Engine and front wheel pivoted back and forth to steer and made them a little more stable than most 3 wheel cars. As to restoration, just run it into the neighborhood pool to dilute and wash out the salt!! It already knows water!!

If the salt doesn't get them the salvage company will. They move everything with a forklift and will jack you and your shipper around and then turn around and change you for their mistakes. I'll not deal with another one.
