A Jersey boy (although he spent part of his teenage years in Iran with his father).

His father started the NJ State Police and worked on the Lindbergh case.

I remember that he wore all those wrist watches. Seemed like a smart, interesting guy who lived a life of service.

Seemed like the real deal, and I understand he was very active in medical and environmental charities.
