Hi All,
After taking the whole summer and fall off from working on the Bugeye restoration, I'm finally back on it. the front suspension parts just came back from the powdercoater and now I'm disassembling the rear axle to send it off for powdercoating. Anyway I came up with a few questions I'm sure most of you will know the answer to
What is the proper tool for taking the brakes apart(a picture would be nice)?f You know that spring, plier thingy...I bought one but it didn't seem to be of much use. I was able to get the smaller spring off with a pair of pliers but the bigger spring I just left attached and wiggled the shoes off their mount locations until the spring relaxed enough to pull the shoes out. Also, I have a brand new, in the box, set of brake shoes, but they have the part number associated with the later model brakes. will those fit on the Bugeye setup anyway? If not does anyone want them?
thanks everyone!
Mark
