The +2 is really under-appreciated. And it was Sir Colin's first true production car, not offered as a "kit".

Someone did want it, and I was told it sold in a week. I like the plus 2 and understand why it has a following, but it's not something I would buy.

From what I have read and heard about the build quality of those early cars, it was more a case of shipping the kit in a loosely assembled form as opposed to in boxes.
