it is hard to find all my old pics...
but maybe this one will show the other side. from the pics i took while pulling the old wiring out, the harness came up from the frame rail, had a p clip that looks to have gone under one of the bolts that holds the fuel pump. then over to the edge of the inner fender to another p clip. over the axle to another p clip on the back of the bump stop and thru the hole into the trunk. you can see on the pic in the last post.
not sure i have any old pics of the trunk wiring. but i feel it was pretty straight forward. it came out on the left side of the trunk. i believe there were metal clips there that folded over it down on the left side. of course the fuel sender wiring came out and went over to the fuel sender unit by the bulkhead. the rest went to the rear. from there it goes around the gas tank and along the back. more clips to hold it there. naturally you have to pull out the shorter wires for the left tail light.
i also added another ground wire from the fuel sending unit to a bolt or screw on the back wall. as i recall the gas sending unit is supposed to ground thru the tank and fuel line. but if you happen to put a rubber connection in there, you may lose the ground. i do not have a rubber line anywhere to the pump but i figured an extra ground can't hurt.
of course your wiring goes to the kill switch. i had to really clean the switch. i also did not hook up... i believe it was the small white/black wire. i put it thru the switch but did not strip it. since i use Pertronix, it is not hooked up on the other end either. my car was also switched to negative ground. at the time i could not find the right ground strap for the battery so i used one that goes to the engine/frame. it is a little shorter i believe so i had to wire it to the back of the bolt.
i am pretty sure i found pictures somewhere on the internet because most of wiring was missing or pulled out and hanging. too long ago to remember but they were pics from different restorations.
