One is too much, a hundred isn't enough

Umm, somebody called the zoning code enforcement on me.
Said I was running a auto repair business out of my house.

I told her that I am a hobbiest and that I own every car in the driveway. Also being out of work, I could go into drug sales or just fiddle with my cars. Although pushing drugs might be lucretive, it is rather dangerous, and being a hobbiest is a safer route.(Plus I am clean and sober 24+years)

Seems that some neighbor got his
feathers ruffled because I had so
many cars in a state of disrepair in
my front driveway.

The code enfocement officer told me that they all had to be operational, but did not have to be registered. So I asked her which one she wanted me to start up? As they all run, are all together and not in a state of disrepair, just not registered.

THEN she POINTED to the Studebaker and started to get into the look of disrepair that it sat in and asked if I would start it up. SOOOOooooooo, I said sure I would start it up, did she want her burgers medium or well. She looked at me strangely and said that it had to run or get towed out. I told her it did not run. She asked why it did not run.

So I showed her, It does not run because it is a
CAR B QUE
and it only gets 4 t-bones to the mile!

I also pointed out that I had one of the nicest houses on the street and maybe she should talk to the neighbors with the mattresses in their front yard or the guy with the unlocked refrigerator. Tell them to mow their lawns and pick up the trash on the side of their house.

Hmmm, I just aquired another 1978 MGB, wonder where I will put it? I know over there, by the green one.
