Like I said earlier Shirley and I will not be able to attend but I thought I could contribute in this way. I have added a couple since the last post and will have a few more coming.

I'd like to add that I had the pleasure of taking in the Auburn, Cord, Deusenberg museum last weekend in Auburn Indiana. Its close to on the way for anyone coming from the east or southeast.
As the advertisement for it says, these were the finest American cars ever made and the museum is,IMHO, a must see for any car nut. Even a selection of fine British cars plus many other marks other than the above mentioned.
You could do a whirl wind tour in probably a couple of hours or easily spend half a day.

I'll add a third recommendation for seeing the ACD Museum in Auburn. I've been there 3 times and it's still a thrill to see the Duesenbergs and Auburn Boat Tail Speedster. The people who owned the Duesenbergs were definitely in a different class from the rest of us folks. There are always a number of event around the ACD Museum and the town of Auburn. Just missed the last time I was there a gathering of Duesenbergs over at the airport for a drag race of all things. It's well worth the trip and can provide a 2-3 hour diversion on the way to the 50th. The Auburn Inn is also a nice place to stay in Auburn.
