Dwell/Tach Hookup to Pos Ground with Petronix?

I want to hook up my dwell/tach to my Pos Gr TR3 with Petronix but I dont want to fry anything. The green clip is supposed to connects to the -coil terminal and the black clip goes to - battery terminal. But this is a POS gr car so what would be the hook up here? My dyslexia strikes again. :smile:

You're not likely to fry anything Karl, the meter is almost certainly protected against anything you could do wrong (except maybe laying it on the exhaust manifold :smile: ).

Because of the unusual way the positive ground Pertronix connects, I believe you want to use exactly the same connections for the dwell/tach. The green clip goes to the same coil terminal that has the lead from the Pertronix (which should be the "-" or "SW" terminal), and the black clip goes to the "-" battery terminal.
