Anyone know where I can get the dimensions for the engine to bellhousing bolt pattern for a Jag V12? I would like to make an adapter plate to use a GM transmission.

Thanks,

Erik

Contact Dan Mooney at Classic Jags. If he can't help nobody can! (Let us know what he tells you i.e, is it even possible?)

John's Cars is a specialist in making complete kits to lump an American V8 and transmission into Jaguar S2 and S3 (S4?) sedans and with some additional mechanical work even into E-types. I don't believe he has any need to produced an adapter plate to mate a Jaguar engine to a GM transmission since its the Jaguar engine he advocates replacing in the first place. Am I wrong?

Dunno, but it would be easy enough to ask him.

Well, https://www.vintagejag.com sells the adapter I am looking for, but it cost $297. The above mentioned business also sells 6 cylinder and standard trans. adapters but they are all close to $300. I would rather have one made for me at a machine shop for <$100, all I need are the dimensions for the Jag side.

Thanks for the replies,

Erik-
