I'd say so. They open beer bottles after all.

I bet no one under the age of 20 will be able to identify a 'church key'. I found one in perfect condition a few months back and keep it handy on my tool wall.

Makes it easy for those late nite visits to Church. You never know when the mood for prayer will strike.

Doug,
If you put them on Ebay, they would probably be worth $5 each. But why do that? Just have one in every room..

Plus, if you develop a sudden urge to remove rain gutter chrome molding from old cars, nothing else works quite as well.

I forgot to mention that there were 241 openers in the box.
Some have suface rust on them, but you can still read the writing on them.
And the box that I got them in was an old "Lucky Lager" box,in really good
shape.

Just a regular old metal one.
For the younger ones here - stores used to give them
away.All cans/bottles required an opener.I think Canada,
& Oregon are still that way for bottles.

I've a Falstaff and a Stroh's. And several "CocaCola" ones. All worthless, IMO.

Doug-

For five bucks you grabbed a bargain. I'd keep em, but if you want to flip them for money ebay is great - that's how I started a few years ago. For several years I collected those 8 oz. bar tapper glasses with old brewery logos. Got up to about 120 different ones and then realized I had no idea what to do with them. A couple months on ebay I was $1500 happier and I think breweriana collectors were happier too.

Two hundred church keys? Sounds like my neighbor-his shed is full of cardboard boxes, all of which are full of things like bottle tops, shoe horns, and old key rings bearing the logos of long-defunct products (Teem soda? Marathon bars? nothing newer than about 1980).

If you're gonnna sell them, try and weed out rare or regional brands. For example, you'd get a better price for a Fox Deluxe opener from someone who collects Chicago memorabilia.
