Rebuilding BE rear suspension

Sooner than later I am going to rebuild the rear suspension, which will include blasting all parts, powder coating, and replacing bushings and other service parts. Other than the Moss prothane bushings #266-415, 280-906, #267-610 rebound strap, 265-420 shock link, should I replace anything else? And any tips/suggestions?

Are your shocks in good condition? Replaced mine with a pair I got at the Lake of the Ozarks meet. Couldn't tell the old ones were really shot till we took them off.

I will have the shocks rebuilt, whether they are shot or not just to make sure everything is new and current.

Take good notes... I've got to do the same on the Tunebug some day.

Good tips. I actually have a new tank in it, and just replaced everything regarding the brakes, changed the gear oil, and new axle seals.

Don't let the rear axle hang off the limit straps like I did. Both failed and had to buy new. Support the axle with jack stands, and don't bother with the supporting the rear of the body.

I have'nt seen "stapping lad" selling his rebound straps on ebay lately but if you can find him his rebound straps are the way to go for any brit car. The ones I sourced thru the usual suspects were lookalike junk.
