Is this one of the "must attend" events?
I'm toying with the idea of driving cross-
country to attend (like I can afford it!).

The British Invasion is a must for the east coast. The short season for driving around in anything that resembles good weather is what brings us out. Stowe Vermont is a tourist town done right. They have great control of any "Tacky" developement, even the McDonalds blends in with the rural community. If you know the Vonn Trapp history, then the lodge is a great place to stay/see, they make you feel right at home. Again $$$ is no object when in Stowe Vermont, so bring somebody elses wallet, And enjoy.

Wife and I went up there a few years back to visit with friends and catch the car show. An added bonus was a beer tasting festival running at the same time.
It was a great show, lot's of nice people, great scenery, and a good time.
Definitely worth the price of admission and a nice long weekend getaway.
If you want something a little less commercial there are plenty of B&B's in the area.
Have a good one and enjoy the ride.
If you go, a photo record of the trip will be expected ;-)

We've gone 3 of the last 4 years, and had a great time each time. This past show I put the SP250 in the corral and it sold. We stay at Ye Olde England Inne, which is owned by one of the car show founders. Always make our reservation for the next year on the way out. Go to the British Invasion website https://www.britishinvasion.com/ for pics and info.

Camping could be a little iffy at that time of year, I think. Seems to rain pretty hard show weekend more often than not. Let us all know if you decide to make the trip.

Thanks! I hope things work out,& I can make it.This might
be a "pipe dream",when reality rears it's ugly head.
I haven't had a real vacation in awhile,& this sounds good.
We have 10 cars,& I'm trying to decide what I really need to keep.

Doug, I live about 8-9 hours west of Stowe in Ontario.
If you decide to make this trip, my wife and I would love to meet you and even provide free accommodations for a day or two.
And don't forget, Ben and Jerry's is just outside of Stowe.
