I wonder what drive train it has, engine, tranny, etc? Looks just like the ones we had back in 59 in the Navy with the tall square hood. Wonder if their still being made in that style? PJ

4-cylinder Mitsubishi diesel in the newer ones. They pop up on eBay every now and then.

They were made on license in India as well, I believe.

That was my thought, the ones made in India... As I understand the old Willys Jeep was manufactured in a number of different countries, and as some may know they are still made in India...

Saw one on ebay a while back. What more could you ask for then a diesel powered Willys made in japan ???????
