Thought I'd post this - took a long time to come up with the solution.

Had a friend take some aluminum pipe and fabricate a transition piece for the Holley air cleaner, so I could run hose to the air inlets for the original ZS carbs. Watcha think?

Very nice solution. Looks clean.

Where is/are the airfilter(s)? Inside the aluminum "hat" or at the ends of the hoses?

Air filters are yet to be added. Haven't decided just how best to do that yet. Access in front of the intakes is limited. Any suggestions?

Mighty slick lookin', Mickey, very nice.

Maybe figure a way to insert and fasten some thin foam at the inlet side? At the least, maybe some fine wire might do the trick.

It has a regular air filter over the carbs, right?

Thanks, Mark. That's been recommended, and am leaning toward trying it.

No, only the aluminum housing. Filters were at either end.

If not power steering, which one of these:https://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/PAS
:jester:

You were correct with Power steering.

I think the lower steering shaft I got from Phil is to big for my new manual rack connection

I can't make out what kind of hose your using, but make sure it's fire proof. I made the mistake of using plastic flex hose once on the race car. The heat from the headers melted the plastic and started a nice fire.

Supposed to be "fire-resistant".

It's temporary, though; have some better stuff on order.
