I saw on the local Craig's list (Pa. - Poconos) a Sterling listed for $200. Gotta be someone here on the list that needs one.

I can't remember which model the Sterling was a dressed up clone of, but I'm pretty sure it was a Honda. Makes me think $200.00 may be a little high.

Yes, it's a dressed up version of a Honda Accord. I rented one in France in 1990, can't do much over 200 kph ... well it can but you might fly away... :smile:

At least here in the US, it was a rebadged Acura (yeah, I know, same company as Honda). At the time and to my eyes, they were nicer than the Acuras; oddly, they were less reliable than a typical Honda/Acura!?

In fact, I think it was a Honda (or Acura in USA) Legend. It was sold as Rover Sterling in UK.

ah yes, the Rover Sterling, of which a Rover it wasn't!!!!

I liked the interior, but it was too light... like paper... could not handle the driving speeds on the continent.
