I used an enamel called "Chinese Red" and it was a very close match. Be sure to use a stiff brush and brush it on because that's how they did it at the factory.oliver88 said:

Well, I can think of one place, but you would have to import it. (Sorry, I know that's not helpful, but it was just too good to pass up!)

in the restoration I have used a can of Signal Red- but the results in normal use aren't good with the heat, paint scrapped
I have some red paint for disk brake pads, heath resistent, I used this with brush, results are very good, after 3 years of long trips
