Tomarrow I start my 50 hour journey to becoming certified in Mig welding. Basically, I want to be able to do a lot of the body work myself, to cut down on cost, and to be more hands on.
My question is, I have replacement rear fenders, and replacement rocker pannels.
both original fenders are basically there, but rusted through in spots, and the rocker pannels are basically missing.
How should i go about removing the old fenders so that i can easily weld the new fenders and rocker pannels on.
I was thinking that a cut-off wheel leaving some edge, how much, to weld too, any process is apprieciated
