This Saturday Oct, 18th, 9:00 AM. The Loris chamber of commerce is hosting it's annual "Bog Off Event". Tons of food, arts and craft vender's for the ladies and a Antique/Classic/Hotrod car show with all marques welcome. Registration for cars can be done the day of the event. Awards to be given out during the day. Lots of antique tractors. If you have one, bring it. Lots of fun for the whole family. One area set aside just for the kids.
Come and chow down on some of South Carolinas best award winning "Chicken Bog", Giant turkey legs, home made ice cream and much more. It starts at 9:00 AM until dark. The town is mostly shut down for the event. We have a great time every year! Good old country atmosphere.
Loris is 20 miles west of Myrtle Beach on HWY#9.

Bummer!!!!! It was a washout! Rain all day long! First time in many years this happened. No cars showed, who would! The real shame is all the people who work many weeks ahead of time for this event and mother nature destroys it in a matter of hours.

Oh well, there's always next year.
