Ordered some parts from BPNW yesterday around noon. They are to be delivered today and I paid regular shipping. You got to love that!
Just got off the phone with them to let them know i appreciate the quick service and that I see them on this forum.

They're in OR, he's in WA so yes, he practically lives next door. Good service though.

I've placed numerous orders with them, the last one on a Sunday night, arrived Tuesdaay. Never more than 2 days delivery with standard ground shipping.
I'm in Kirkland, and it helps that the UPS hub is right there in Redmond, WA.
Fantastic service every time I've dealt with them, and they'll pick up the phone and answer any questions you have as well. Very friendly.

I live in the San Jose, CA area and shipping was very fast here as well.

I live on the wrong side of the country for BPNW - always takes exactly a week to get here - not their fault I am too cheap to pay for express delivery, of course! On the other hand TRF parcels usually arrive next day. A few weeks ago I placed an order on Thursday afternoon at about 3pm and it was sitting on my doorstep by 10am Friday. TRF seem to have started sending UPS tracking numbers now, which I think is a good thing. I bought some parts from Joe Alexander in IA and they arrived in two days, which I thought was pretty good (though not as good as the parts, which are really nice!).

On the shipping subject, am I the only one who won't place an order with TRF unless they have a shipping deal on?

TRF shipping to Hoston, Tx isn't always as fast as I'd like. But, once I needed a new oil pan for my TR6. It's NLA everywhere. Called TRF, they bead blasted and painted one, sent it to me with a new gasket and I had it 2 days later. Aside from some slight oil staining on the inside, I couldn't tell it from new. So, I can't complain about TRF -though most of my orders with them are some sort of special deal.

I have had very good service from BP Northwest.
Two days delivery at most (I'm in the somewhat
northern California side, though). Patient and
helpful with questions (and you know I've got 'em)

Based on their Friday regular specials email, TRF is considering charging actual shipping rather than the dollar amount deal. I really applaud that thought. If you concur email them your feelings.

I like the candy that BPNW throws into the box with each order!

Except the one time I ordered some parts from them in August for delivery in Texas.. don't know what the candy was originally, but I didn't dare open up the very squishy wrapper.

I also noticed TRF is putting out UPS tracking - big improvement I think.

That's great that TRF is giving out tracking #'s. Never seen 1 from them and I just got 1 0f 2 back ordered things. Wish they would fix that.

It's about time they started with tracking numbers, after all, we are in the 21st century! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif The back order problem...well, maybe someday we will see that straightened out. It's too bad, because most of their stuff is of very high quality, but sometimes I just can't wait six months.

TRF is fastest for me also. Ground is next day. But I am spoiled now since I started making sales calls near there and can pick it up.

BPNW impressed me last year when I ordered from them. The parts were here the next day, and I'm in Canada!

In addition, often UPS will charge extra phoney 'brokerage' fees at this end, raising the cost of shipment considerably. I spoke with BPNW and they assured me that I would not pay an extra fee, and that the shipping cost shown on my website order was all I would pay. And they were right - that's all I paid. I intend to use them again.

BPNW don't offer as complete an inventory as TRF, Moss or VB, but their quality seems very good, and their prices and service are excellent.

I have also used TRF quite a bit in the past, with good success. My major concern with TRF is the website does not show whether the part you're ordering will actually be shipped, while BPNW does show that. I have placed orders at TRF in the past only to find when the package arrives that the key part I was looking for was backordered. Grrrrrr... If anyone from TRF is listening, you need to fix that.

When I spoke to BPNW last week that started this post, I asked if they sold an inner cable for the speedo. The one I had just purchased from them last month somehow, probably me, got buggered up at the speedo side. They said they didn't have just the inner cable but he would send a new one out N/C. NICE
