I don't know if there are any RR owners here?
My pal in the UK has a 1975 Shadow which has a vibration problem at the rear. The passengers can feel it through the seats!!
Some while ago he had the rear UJs changed and he said it was a little better. But it is back again.
Any thoughts?

Yup... start at the ends and work inboard. Inspect wheels/tyres first, then bearings and axles... with more accurate tools than just hands and eyes. That Rollie has a ride height compensation system which can do some "odd" things as well if linkage is bent or damaged, or valves are malfunctioning, or accumulator(s) not holding pressure. Overly complex cars, but nice when they're sorted properly.

Curtis: It really is an overly complex car. It needs someone familiar with 'em to sort it.

I'm not bein' a SmeartArse here, rather trying to get you the best info on the shortest possible route.

I know the cars rather well and there could be more than a few things to cause the "symptom" described.

You're quite right Doc.
It's just that my pal who has the Shadow and an Aston V8 plus 3 Moto Guzzis is not at mechanically minded. It will give him some sort of idea when he takes it in to be done.

I appreciate all your thoughts though.
