TR5/TR250 TR 250 steering wheel

I have a steering column out of a Tr250 and it`s got a wooden wheel on it.
is there any way to tell if it`s an original steering wheel?

The 250 was a 4a in most respects, so if it is wood it is not OE. Crumbling plastic, as bad as it looks is still repairable(up to a point)It is still available new however.
