I'm sure many of you AH folks know Reid and will join me in welcoming him to this daunting position

(just kidding).

His job will be to keep all you roudy Austin Healey types in line

Hopfully this task will be slightly easier than herding cats

As a virtual "club meeting" it's great to be able to converse and share information with fellow enthusiasts from around the world. It is ideas like this, and people like Basil, who are extending the life of our Little British Cars by bringing us together in ways that didn't even exist just a few years ago!

I'm just surprised there hasn't been a forum like this all along. I mean so many other types of cars (Corvettes, Mustangs, ZCars, Miatas, and many others) have been using this type of forum for a long time. I'm really glad to finally see a well-organized forum that brings all (or most) of the major British cars together in one place. I second the hats off to Basil for putting together a super forum - I hang around on a lot of forums and I will tell you without a doubt that this is definitely one of the very best I've seen (and no, Basil didn't pay me to say this).

Oh, and congrats to Basil for a year of operation! I know at times you have been frustrated, but I'm really glad you hung in there. I'm sure that things are and will continue to grow. Here's hoping 2002 will see the British Car Forum explode!

Also, congrats on becoming a moderator, AHCUSA!
