------------------------------------------Going to get an early start to /Statfarad, CN to take a close up look at my new 1977 MGB, White with rubber bumpers removed and entire interior new.

New tires, new top. Oh yea, GM v6 engine, oversize radiator, elec. fans, oil cooler, auto tranny.

Yep i will take pics and determine engine specs. we both think 2.8- and as such 125 HP stock.

stand boy for launch.

Went up to see Agatha this morning. She has now had both rubber bumpers removed, boy grill looks great. MGB sticker on sides

removed. This afternoon progressing with lowering stuff and all new bushings for front and rear suspension. Sat in it and dreamed a bit.

Owner of shop thinks it is a 2.8 engine.

Looks good, Jack! Getting the C.G. down lower is a good idea with the extra HP of the engine, too.

Poly bushes or nylon?

Yep, chrome bumpers. Plan to drive it. No clue on weather poly or nylon bushings are best. What say you.

I went with the polyurethane, the nylon would be "stiffer" and a more harsh ride. The combination of the poly bushes and a heavier MGB-GT front sway-bar made a big difference in the handling. A bit more seat-of-the-pants feedback.
