Hi All.
Just got back into proper motoring with no ECU or sensors to mess about with. 1969 triumph vitesse 2 litre Mk2. God, its noisy and bouncy but such fun. So responsive to throttle after the fly by wire modern stuff. I had several of these and heralds and GT6 back in the day. How nice to be able to lift the whole bonnet up, sit on the wheel and tinker with an oily rag in hand. It could do with a gearbox as the one in at present is noisy in 2 and 3 but once I've run it for a while I'll decide whether its worth the expense for the few miles I do in it. Brings a smile when I drive it. Brings a smile to passengers when they ride it and a smile to those who pass it when parked up. At 3000 rpm is busy. At 6000 rpm its WONDERFUL!!
