Every year around this time we get big flocks of grackles they attack my feeder and the whole yard. This year I have one that’s white. Anyone know what it is. F2241114-DC9F-4253-9F7C-001AE9B860CC.jpg

I don’t know why the picture is sideways.

It appears that’s what it is. I only get Orioles for a few days each year. I do get several Grossbeaks every summer. My friend in Hopkinton MA had a flock of Bluebirds this spring. The males kept flying into her windows.

Looks like an albino Grackle. They flock up in the Fall and fly south - but not too far, maybe Virginia. The flocks sometimes include Red-Winged Blackbirds and Cowbirds. They don't stay long at the feeder. Orioles? Still common here in SW CT and very vocal in May when they return. A few Orchard Orioles also. Put out some orange slices and some grape jelly and if any are around, they will come to eat.
