The HST has been a remarkable tool to advance astronomy and our understanding of our universe. That the start's ejecta could be clearly seen from Hubble and not terrestrial observatories, is yet another illustration of its value.

IOW: Spacetime is really, really BIG!!

I was amazed to learn that the star is only 10 million years old! Seems crazy young. It's a MONSTER of a star.

Sounds like it was ill-formed; not enuff initial mass to sufficiently accrete matter and coalesce/condense into a "proper" star? And with the nature of things (light-speed barrier an' all that) it likely has gone "POOF!" already.

Just a WAG on my part.
