Hi everyone, I am new to the forum. Basil the forum Admin was very gracious in helping me with some of the setup. We had a good phone conversation concerning his XKE restoration.

I have an 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MKII BT7 Tri-carb that I have been working on for a few years. It was running when I bought it and needed a lot of TLC. I have always had an interest in all things mechanical. I like to modify cars that I own to my personal likes. I have a 1977 Land Cruiser FJ40 that I put a small Cummins engine in. It is a very good off road camping vehicle. I also picked up a 1987 Porsche Carrera Coupe a few years ago that had some engine problems. It is a very interesting car to work on.
I look forward to posting some threads concerning some Healey issues that I have been trying to resolve. The forum looks to be a place with a lot of knowledgeable Healey owners.
Regards,

Basil

Basil,

That would be great if you could visit Durango this fall. The best time for foliage pictures.
