Good Afternoon to all. My name is Jaime and I live outside of Austin, Tx in a town called Spicewood. Our claim to fame is that Willie Nelson has a ranch here . I am up to my ears in dual restorations. A Triumph Spitfire (79 methinks) and a Triumph SpitSix (Engine KF 10195UF) with a Spitfire Tub and GT6 doors. Still very new to mechanical work and automotive work, but Covid has partially shut down my restaurant, so I need something to do with my beautiful wife and kids! Thanks in advance for your understanding when I ask newbie questions. Please stay safe.

Jaime - welcome to BCF. I lived in Austin zillions of years ago, I think when Anson Jones was president of Texas.

:jester:

How'd you get interested in Triumph Spitfires?

With apologies to Willie Nelson, I'm sure you're looking forward to getting them both "On the Road Again".

Here's our Spitfire area when you're ready to ask questions.

Hello Jaime

Welcome to the forum.

You will find the Triumph section is very active so you are sure to get plenty of tips and advice there for your project. They both sound interesting. Post a ew photos of your progress.
