I’m ready to purchase a 100/6 and I’m looking for some new chaps with whom to chat. I’m located in North SD County in SoCal. My wife and I are ready to retire and have some fun on the road. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome to BCF! Before I retired as a Contractor in 2015, in the last few years I spent a lot of time out in SD and loved it. I was working out at Point Loma and used to go to Sunset Cliffs alomost every night after work to photograph the sunset. Also loved going to Balboa Park (especiall that car museum there) and the SD Zoo.
Jump in over at the Austin Healey forum here - you will find a great bunch of AH enthusists ready to help you.

Hello Rreidiii

Welcome to the forum.

The AH section would be the area of the forum to get the best advice on finding a 100/6.
Retirement is great.

I am a San Diego Born and raised guy with a 1960 Bugeye and I would suggest that you get in touch with the San Diego Austin Healey Club.

I was born there also, grew up in Leucadia. Now I live in Northern California. One of my cars I sold (a 100 6) is in San Diego. That model is less expensive but looks just like the rest of the Healeys. Many of them have been upgraded to the 3000 cc engine also.
