I'm still in the hunt for TR250 seats. The previous owner threw them out !! He thought early TR6 seats were better...Even the frames woud be enough, I can rebuild them from there.
Thanks

If you have '69 TR6 seats remove the headrests and they are as close as you can get. Or, look on the Olympia Craigslist and reach out to the guy selling the TR250 without photos. He says the seats are in it.

If you have not found seats in almost two years, these are rust-free OE TR250 Seats.
Locking rails are removed but included with tabs and screws.

The creases on the Passenger seat leathercloth vinyl are ftom sitting inverted on the driver seat in my cold garage and dissappear after relaxing in the sun. They need new bladders, the driver seat side bolster is torn from in/out.

Not interested in a lowball, you know what they are worth in this condition.

The tell-tale item for the TR250 seats is the release bar which is stated to be removed from the above. While they are a tough find, I've purchased two pairs since the top post.

Since we are on TR250 topic, can anyone tell me of vendor/individual that can rebuild/recondition seats?not just install new covers!

Depends entirely on where you are. I strongly recommend a face-to-face visit with your regional shops to discuss the job in extreme detail first. You are in Florida? and there are literally dozens of high quality upholstery shops, check with some of the British and Triumph Clubs in Florida for recommendations, or better yet, go to a hot-rod custom car show and ask around.

For example in Colorado I like Auto Weave Upholstery who was recommended by many people at a Good Guys Custom Car show and the local Briths Car clubs. They did a fantastic job on my Stag seats making all foams and covers from scratch using the old covers as patterns. I supplied the blatters. I took the seats to them, we discussed exactly what I wanted, picked out the materials, and they quoted me a price. I had them write it up and left the seats with them, 3 weeks later they were done. They used similar materials to OE but could nto obtain the special basket weave style for teh center panels, but the pattern they used takes a experienced eye to notice the difference.
They did so well on the bebuild we could drive 12 hours straight on the interstate (you can do that in a Stag) without getting saddle sore and we made many coast-to-coast drives. They have several locations. The one I used is 7158 Washington St, Denver, CO 80229 (303) 288-6222

If you want the best of the best, send them to Heritage Auto Upholstery and Trim > Heritage Upholstery & Trim - Upholstery Products for Classic Cars < They do Pebble Beach concours quality if you want in any material you want, in any features you want from 100% accurate show room floor condition to better than new. > Upholstery for Triumph TR250 | Heritage Upholstery & Trim <

Also in Colorado is Sprotscar Craftsmen in Arvada Colorado, I have seen their work specificaly on TR250 seats not to mention other interiors and the work is top notch superb. > About | British Car Service <

My next set of seats - late style for a TR6, I did myself from foam kits and seat covers I special ordered, installed them in my TR250, also drive a for day without getting saddle sore.
