Hi,
I joined to find out more about repairs and restoration on British cars. My first car was a 1957 MGA. I've owned many LBCs over the years. Over the past 50+ years I've performed repairs on MGs, Triumphs, AHs. and Jaguar. Currently taking apart a 1966 AH 3000 BJ8 to restore for the owner. Have a problem with rusted bolts on the rear suspension. The bolts through the radius arms are stuck. Have applied heat (torch) and hammer. No success!
Cheers!
Jim

Hi Jim, welcome to the BCF! You may get some answers to your issue here in this new member forum, but I'd recommend also posting the issue in our Austin Healey forum here - lots of expertise in there!

welcome - when I was stuck with very tight bolts, in addition to heat and spray etc. I heated it up and touched a candle to the threads - the wax wicked down and it worked pretty well.

Good luck!
