    Cool Hello from SE Louisiana

Had a TR-4A while in Air Force training in Monterey, CA in 1973 and sorry I didn't keep it. Was considering a Cobra kit car for a retirement project but discussion with my brother lead to going for a V8 restomod of a TR-6 instead. Picked up a -6 in Dallas in January which was on a salvage title due to an engine compartment fuel-leak-related fire and have been tearing it down since. Body is off the frame and currently removing suspension parts towards a bare chassis for reconditioning. Love the modular design of this vehicle. Chuck Borne

Welcome to the BCF Chuck, from a fellow Air Force vet (I was in training at Keesler AFB, MS in 1973, retired in 97)

    Hello Chuck

    Welcome to the forum.

Great retirement project. Looks like you have plenty of room to work on your conversion.

The Triumph section is very active so you are sure to get plenty of tips and advice for your conversion. There is information on improved rear axle drive shafts.
