Good friend was on the Pervert of the Pacific. Knew another fellow who claimed to be the CO for a short period of time, but no record ever found.

What did you do?
I was a nose coner, SINS Tech (and Radar, ESM, radio when needed....even EM Log).

I assume the patch you mean is the one we made for an early 70's Westpac. I have mine somewhere, but not inside my jacket.

I was O-gang, under Cobb and Bacon. At various times I had sonar, comms, electrical and training.

72 WesPac, I think Ric told me. 0-ganger, Ric was a TN (his def) or Stewards Mate. Probably had interfacing in wardroom.
