Dear Basil (and team if you have one),
Many thanks for allowing to join!
Hello to all BCF members!
I have owned all manner of Brits cars in my 45 years or so motoring;
Healey Sprite Mk3 great memories (deceased)
Healey Mk2A
Healey BT7 Ruddspeed ex Racer 87 FPO
Sunbeam Stlletto (quirky and fun)
Triumph Dolomite Sprint (interesting experience!)
Aston DB5 (a bit tired but great fun)
Aston DBS Vantage Manual (what a car that was - deceased)
2 x Jaguar 340 (wedding hire, one was hot with race head and D type cams)
64 MGB (FIA) Racer
MGC GT ex club racer Modsports
Healey 100 BN2 ex US racer
Now owner of:
59' Frogeye (Bugeye) ex West Coast racer, now 1293 with a few upgrades
Waiting on ex US BN2 Racer (still at the docks)
Started racing in the UK couple of years back, working hard to get up the grid, but happy to be there, its not do or die for me....
Have tried them all, Healey's come out best for grab factor, in the blood I guess by now. Thought about a Triumph TR once, came out in a rash!
Happy to chat and share experience.
Peter
