Hello John

Welcome to the forum.

You will find that the AH section is very active so you are sure to get plenty of help and advice there for your BJ8.

Post some photos of the BJ8 and the XK150.

Wow, both really great cars! I'm partial to that 150! That's the car in which I learned to drive! It was a British Racing Green FHC. Yours is gorgeous by the way.

Thanks Basil,
Mine is Indigo Blue with Dove grey interior. We use it mainly for touring holidays and the Healey for blasting around our local back roads. Here's another photo of the XK :tennis:

My first car back in 1966 was a TR2 . I had been trying to get a XK120 but it was just outside my budget.

Great looking XK150

Was the left hand drive Jag imported from the States?

Hi Nelson,

Yes it was. It spent most of it's life in Calafornia before being sold to a guy in British Columbia. He did the restoration over five yearsand then sold it to a company in the UK. I bought it from them and had it converted to right hand drive plus many other things to get it fit for touring in the UK and Europe. It took a year to get the car sorted but it now runs and drives beautifully. My wife and I spent many happy hours touring last year and are planning more for this year, Covid-19 permiting!
