    Hello all,

Started out with Meccano and Dinky toys about 50 years ago, and by now have collected a 49 TR 2000 project, a 61 Healey 3000 BT7 under repair, and a 66 E-type FHC decent driver currently in winter storage. The Healey is a pretty much original second owner car still with positive ground, generator, Lucas electrics and a clutch that finally wore out at 72,000 miles. Parts are on hand, and July 1 is target for completion. That's July 1, 2020. The Jag was a warehouse find that had new paint and an interior before it sat for 10 years. Engine and trans were the reasons it sat, so Cheshire Motors in Oakville rebuilt both in 2007. Largely original, with factory rad and two blade fan, points and condenser for ignition and still no rearview mirrors. Bit of a beast on the backroads up north. The Roadster was local and generally complete except for the 302 V8 some PO had thankfully failed to install. Found a parts car in Florida which was luckily also LHD since I had forgotten to ask. Chassis, gearbox and block are done and looking forward to the body frame and some woodworking. Three day work week is the answer.

Not as exciting as Duane's story but it keeps me active which I am told is important.

Exciting stuff! Best of luck on your completion date, I really stink at meeting those.

    Hello Bob

    Welcome to the forum.

The Triumph section is very active so you are sure to get plenty of tips and advice there for your 49 TR project. Post some photos of the TR.
