Helping a friend build a 1957 TR3. Need some help installing the throttle linkage. When we got the car it was in pieces. We have no photos. Any help out there?

Hello dsmorganjr

Welcome to the forum.

The Triumph section is very active and you are sure to get plenty of help there for your questions on the TR3 rebuild.

A couple of shots of the throttle linkage. Taken before I painted the car.

Be warned that there were some variations over the years; David's won't be exactly the same as yours. The general idea remains the same, but the early cars used more pieces, held together with mills pins. You have to assemble the pieces to the car first, and then insert the pins.

Sorry I didn't get photos, but here's the diagram from the SPC for the earlier version.
