When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life. John Lennon

    Nuts.

And for the other end of craziness: "I coulda had a" V8
Never could understand these (though I have a 5 speed in mine).
Sort of amusing, too, that there is a heritage certificate.

Nicely done, and I don't doubt the seller could have that much invested in the car. I've never added up what I have invested in mine...

Still, that sadly doesn't mean the car is actually worth anything close to that. Good luck to 'em.

There is a BE in FL that was restored by a high end shop in FL that I was told owner wrote a check to the restoration shop for $77k. It won the trophy at safety Harbor Show last year. Oh yeah and that cost did not include the purchase price.

Crazy. Such a car would also have to have some sort of provenance (for me)... like ownd by John Lennon or something.
