Colored bulbs at top of page - What happened to them?

A really important question here. In past years, when one scrolled over the Christmas lights at the top of page, they would break - visually and audibly. This year they just have a small circle appear near the top of the bulb when touched. Tried two different browsers and the same non-result. Maybe I'm the only one that feels this way, but it was a lot of fun to break the bulbs.

Thanks, John. Don't know how I missed those other discussions on the topic. Glad to hear that others share my sense of loss.
