We just bought a '78 Midget to work on, it won't be a daily driver for him, Mom says "no air-bags, no way" so it's going to be just for fixing (I mean improving) during the week and driving on the weekends. We have already rebuilt brakes, filled and flushed lines, just to find a puddle of fluid in the floor boards. So next weekend will be the Master Cylinder rebuild / replace. Replaced all the gas hoses (Rotten) fuel filter, cleaned the screen in the fuel pump, cranked until clean fresh gas from tank. Hooked up the line again and after a battery recharge and a quick squirt of motivational starting fluid, we have a running Midget! Lots of projects to come, looking forward to working with him on this.
