TR6 Trun Signal Switch for 76 TR6

I have replaced the original turn signal switch for my 76 TR6 with a replacement. Question is how do I get the three wires through the dash in order to connect them to the wiring harness. There does not seem to be a clear path under the steering column where it passes through the dash. Right now they are draped under the dash and connected so they will work the turn signals.

Basically the part #123 that glemon refers to is a "wire trough" and neatly hides the wires.

I realize the wires need to go in the 'wire trough'. The issue I have is getting the wires to pase through the dash itself so I can connect them to the wiring harness. There does not seem to be any availale space between the metal the dash is mounted on and the bottom of the steering column housing (#90 on the Moss diagram). I don't want to use too much force and break existing wiring.

The wires from the turn signal switch do not go through the dash... they go through the trough and through the steering column support.
Hope this diagram helps.

FLB... looks like I may be incorrect....
The diagram shows the wires from overdrive switch and light switch going through the trough.
I still think the turn signal wires also go through the same path.
I will have to go have a look at my car to find the turn signal wire routing. Sorry for any confusion.

OK, I just found this "Refitting" instruction. The wires from the turn signal switch do indeed go through the wire trough and then through the steering column clamp.

The set-up is much the same on my TR4A. I think you will have to loosen the clamp assembly at the dash quite a bit in order to even remove and reinstall the wire trough and fish the wires through. I had the entire column out recently to replace the bushings and a very worn lighting switch. The wires feed through a hole in the underside of the sheet metal outer column and as noted above are hidden/protected by the trough.
