Prices range up to $85,000.00. Article describes restomods. "You don't want to take a ride and wind up coming home behind a tow truck." is the usual reason given.

I can see an electric conversion when gas stations go the way of buggy whips. By then, they might have a reasonably-priced conversion. I probably won't be driving by then.
