First car was a Mark 1 Sprite (Bug Eye Sprite) $60 when I was in high school. Found 2 more for about the same price. Combined all the parts to get the first one running. A few years after High School I did SCCA driver school in a TR3B, gaining a regional license, I always got 1st in class, 3rd overall. Had 2 DNF's. Took a leave from racing to go to college.

I drove and worked on a variety of TR4's and 3''s. My Favorite TR was my 1968 TR4-A w/IRS. Bought it 6 months old for $1800 from a NASA employee who was told he had 1 week to liquidate his belongings and move half way around the world.

Would like to find a TR4A IRS with good body. Mechanical condition not important.
