sounds about right.

don't know my American Muscle to know exactly what is in the background (Torino?) but it is hard to know whether it or the Westphalia would be worth more now. I will say his 'car' would be worth more than I paid for the Midget/ Fiat and Austin combined

My first car was a '71 Torino and it looks (to me) like a '71. I bought it brand new with the small v-8 302 engine and paid $3,500.

My oldest friend, known each other since we were 7yo cub scouts, had a 351 engined Torino when we were High school age. The one car he regrets ever having sold.

I can think of a few I wish I still had. A 1946 Chevy convertible, a '56 MB 190SL, a '64 MB 220SE (beautiful car). Even a '62 Volvo PV544 Sport.

Other than a couple Toyotas I drove to death, or close to it, I have to admit I've never sold a car. Probably why I have more LBPs, (little British projects), than I have sense...
