looks pretty though 72-74 had round wheel arches. So, maybe a late 71? But you are right about it being driven.

I did this in kind of a hurry. It said "72" on the sale disclaimer -
(The sheet that has " Sold AS- IS" or "WARRANTY" on it.
It's not for sale, but the owner needs it to look like it is,is what
I was told.
I thought that the shade of Red just didn't look right,& that the
rockers should be painted Black,to balance out the car.

What would really balance out that car is to jack up the radiator cap and drive a Pinto under it.

hehehe.

I recall once seeing a Midget with a 2 litre Pinto and trans in it. Heck of a lot better and the guy was just tired of opening the engine.

I used to do so much of this in shops. Valves, then valves again, the valves again..rigs...then bore, piston and rings.....carbs...factory electronic ignition that just sat there..clutches....throwout bearings....crank trust bearings in pieces in the pan......I think he'd been through all of that, and just did this.

Not as bad as the TD or TF I saw in college with bonnet sides removed and a 327 with generator hanging out over the wing.....

But the really hot setup was a TD with a complete Volvo B-18 under the bonnet.

We had a regular customer at the shop that owned a Midget and I think that explains it all.
